Het was op 1 november 2009 dat Oline Aucoin, die van Californië afkomstig is, de deuren van haar Amerikaans koffiehuis in hartje Brugge opende. Bean around the World streeft ernaar om zowel Bruggelingen als toeristen heerlijke drankjes en snacks te serveren, met de glimlach, en aan een billijke prijs. Ondertussen is wat de vaste klanten “de Bean” noemen een plaats geworden waar mensen van alle uithoeken van de wereld komen ontspannen en rusten.
Drinken
Bean around the World is een koffiehuis, dus is het is maar normaal dat je er een wijde selectie versgemalen koffiedrankjes vindt, van een ongecompliceerde espresso tot een heuse latte macchiato met karamelsmaak. Maar er is nog veel meer, zoals milkshakes, smoothies en zelfs lokale bieren bijvoorbeeld.Ook geïmporteerde Amerikaanse drankjes zoals Mountain Dew, MUG root beer en Snapple limonade zijn beschikbaar.
Eten
Klanten treffen bagels, donuts en soep op het menu aan. Heb je een grotere appetijt? Kies dan uit de selectie van pastas, sandwiches of slaatjes.In de zaak vind je versbereide Amerikaanse specialiteiten als PB&J, BLT en Philly Cheesesteak Sandwhiches in de aanbieding. Voor wie gezonder wilt eten, zijn er ook slaatjes zoals Tuna, Chef en Wedge Salad.
Snoep
Ok, laten we het maar bekennen... we houden van snoep, en we weten dat jij er ook gek van bent ! In onze snoepsectie kun je geïmporteerde Amerikaans snoep zoals Reeses’s Peanut Butter Cups en Milk Duds oppikken.Bijkomende diensten
Elk weekend kopen we de International Herald Tribune, en gedurende de week ook de lokale krant De Morgen. Het gebruik van WiFi is gratis. Een internetcomputer is beschikbaar (voor een kleine bijdrage), en is verbonden met een printer.10 % studentenkorting

It was on 1 November 2009 that Oline Aucoin, a California native, opened the door of her American coffee house in the heart of Bruges. Bean around the World strives to offer locals and tourists alike a selection of delicious drinks and snacks, offered at affordable prices and served always with a smile. Since then what is referred to by regulars as “the Bean” has been a place for people from all corners of the world to take a load off their feet and relax.
Drinking
Bean around the World is a coffee house – so a wide selection of freshly brewed coffee drinks comes naturally, from an uncomplicated regular espresso to a full fledged latte machiato with caramel flavor. But there is so much more, milkshakes, smoothies and even local beers for example.There are also imported American drinks such as Mountain Dew, MUG root beer and Snapple lemonade available.
Eating
Patrons will find bagels, donuts and soup on the menu. Looking for something more substantial? A selection of pastas, sandwiches and salads will satisfy your hunger.We have freshly made delicious American specialties in the offering, such as PB&J, BLT and Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches. Candy section
So ok we admit it... we love candy and we know you do too. In our candy section we have a variety of imported American candy in which you can find Reeses’s Peanut Butter Cups, Milk Duds and much more.Additional services
